“Sorchiee ran towards the abandoned camp just on the border of Alegria’s Bay. She’d finally arrived, but the scene before her made her double over and vomit. There was a makeshift tent, some barrels, and sacks of grain scatter throughout the camp and a fire still burned low in a metal brazier. Sorchiee wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and composed herself… Below her was a congealed pool of blood…fresh blood. She had stepped in it on accident and the smell of iron stung in her nostrils. She bent own and placed a finger in the blood…It was human. “Damn!” She cursed aloud. Her brain immediately began to come up with every possible reason for this blood to be here… Every scenario ended with Duchess and Kynne dead. “No…No…This isn’t Duchess’s Blood…or Kynne’s.” She refused to believe her Sisters were wounded or dead. Sorchiee whistled to her Wild Cat as he had begun to nose through the campsite. “Come on…let’s go.” She said quietly as her Cat padded up beside her. She reached down with a tentative hand to scratch behind his ears while her eyes scanned the outskirts of the campsite… It was definitely not set up by Duchess or Kynne. It was too messy…too disorganized. She slung her bag across her back and adjusted her armor. Algeria’s Bay was just over the horizon. She could hear the lapping of the waves against the rocks and could smell the sale in the air. “Alright…This is it.” She said to herself…”
