A man alone in misery sits
His dreams have all been smashed to bits
Abandoned by the one he loves
His heart as fragile as a doves
Alone he sits inside the waste
Of mirrors smashed to hide his face
A mask which with his face did hide,
Now sits forlornly at his side
He hears the loud roar of the riot
And wishes he had peace and quiet.
But when the mob enters the place
They find it empty without a trace.
Save for a mask that let’s them know
The Phantom has hid…deep down below.
