Butterfly Fae

I wander the bright meadows and dales
through all the green valleys and hills,
I’m Alantra the winged fairy of butterflies
just at first dawning of each new sunrise,

I go sprinkling my magic dust all around
which turns into butterflies that abound,
gliding on their fine silky gossamer wings
flitting about pretty flowers and things,

In all colors of the rainbows various hues
yellows red, purple,green, orange and blues,
To me they’re just Gods tiny creatures
all majestic beauty shown in their features.

These tiniest of angels oh what delicate form
flying here and there with the coming of morn,
and when you see them I know you will sigh
when you spot the beauty of each butterfly.
